WoW! This bag is made from leftover fabric, like old flags or banners. The Upcycling Banners Bags gives old promotional materials a new lease of life. By using this bag, you’re reducing waste, helping people find work, and never needing to buy a plastic bag in a store again.
By upcycling promotional materials into reusable bags by and for companies, Upcycling Banners is helping to move Europe’s circular economy forward. In the promotional industry, a lot of materials are produced that lead short lives and are quickly discarded. Each month, we convert around 1,500 m2 of this material into sustainable, high-quality bags – tailored to the wishes of the client. This turns a material that’s become worthless into a valuable product again. These unique bags are sewn in socially responsible warehouses, which also provide local employment opportunities.

It’s also possible to use your own banner materials , your own booth /event promotional canvas> see information below about PIXI campaign.
A printing can be done on the front- and/or backside
CERTIFICATE OF REUSE
Upcycling Banner Bags can issue a personalised certificate that states that your leftover materials are being reused – this service costs €75. In your sustainability report, for example, you can then demonstrate that the bag has given your waste materials a second life. The figures on the certificate show how much material has been reused, how much plastic has been saved, and how many employment opportunities have been created thanks to your organisation.
With the help of our PIXI software, it’s possible for people to choose a specific ‘pixel’ from a canvas. This pixel can then be used to create a bag especially for that person. A PIXI campaign is well suited for special canvases in very visible locations or at events. Interested in PIXI? Get in touch to discuss the possibilities.
HOW IT WORKS
Imagine a festival that’s been beautifully decorated. While the event is taking place, visitors can choose ‘their pixel’ via their smartphone – meaning that the fabric used to decorate the festival is already sold in the form of bags before the event is over. This not only prevents the carefully designed materials from being thrown away, but also means that the event lives on through the bags that the visitors have ordered.
